Not your ordinary Vanilla Ice Cream

No matter what you do, you have to do your best .

Such is how this vanilla ice cream should be prepared. And you'll be surprised how an ordinary vanilla ice cream can be transformed into a gastronomic delight - more texture, more crunch, tingling fusion of tastes in your mouth, citrus-y and not so milky (since Im lactose intolerant).

Such is Your vanilla cream. With a different take.

It only takes 10 minutes tops to prepare this "sexy" dish. Watch me...LOL!

Ingredients:

2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
A generous handful of pistachio
1 mandarin/clementine
A good oh so good dollop of honey (I found a jar of  an extraordinary honey called Manuka in Preston Market which accordingly is known to be one of the best honey in the world)

Chomp, ooops! Chop the pistachio and throw a handful into your small frying pan. Drizzle over your honey. Give it a bit of a good stir and turn off your stove after you got your pistachio bubbling away. Remove pan and let your honeyed pistachio to cool down.

Assembly:

Peel your mandarin/clementine and beautifully arrange them on the plate. Put 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream over mandarin/clementine and arrange honeyed pistachio over vanilla ice cream.

And Voila, you just made your not your ordinary Vanilla Ice Cream. Trust me, this dish will make the world a happy place.

See what I mean?
